Why the dates can still move
Epic's own feed is the one source that gets a giveaway's start date right, but it isn't a guarantee against a last-minute swap — publishers occasionally pull a title before its window opens. Treat the list above as Epic's current plan, not a locked calendar, and check back close to each date if a specific title matters to you.
Check the Epic Games Store free games page for the publisher's live schedule; our free games page adds descriptions, cover art and claim links as each title goes live.
What 'next week' means on this page
The page groups every future promotion window that Epic currently exposes, not only the first seven calendar days after publication. The exact opening and closing dates in the table are therefore more reliable than the phrase “next week”. A game listed for a later rotation is confirmed as upcoming, but it cannot be claimed until its own opening time. When a promotion begins, the daily snapshot moves it from this article to the live free-games lineup instead of leaving the same title marked as both future and claimable.
Epic normally rotates its headline PC giveaways weekly, but individual promotions can overlap or run longer. That is why two games announced together may have different closing dates. Use the row for the specific title rather than assuming every item shares one deadline, and complete the zero-value checkout before that closing date. Adding a game to a wishlist or downloading the launcher does not claim the licence.
How to decide what is worth claiming
Treat the combined RRP as descriptive, not as an automatic saving. A title only replaces a purchase if it was already on your buying list. Genre fit, expected play time and whether your PC supports it are more useful filters than the largest list price. Because a claim is permanent once completed during the window, the low-risk approach is to claim anything you are genuinely curious about and evaluate it later without rushing a download.
Upcoming status does not mean the order can be completed early. Add the opening date to your calendar or return to the free-games hub after the rotation changes. The article will then move a started title into the live lineup and replace the future countdown with the remaining claim time.
How we validate the schedule
Titles, images, normal prices and promotion windows come from Epic's public promotions payload. The importer excludes add-on rewards, elements without a resolvable store page and windows that are neither live nor upcoming. A failed refresh does not publish an empty article: the last validated snapshot remains in place until a complete replacement passes the catalogue and content gates.
- What are the next Epic free games?
- Epic currently lists Bad Cheese, Agent A: A puzzle in disguise, Castlevania Anniversary Collection, LISA: The Definitive Edition, Monument Valley and Ghostrunner 2 in future giveaway windows, beginning October 15, 2026. The schedule can change before a window opens, so confirm the exact row and live store page before the deadline.
- Can I claim a future giveaway early?
- No — the claim button only activates once a title's window actually opens. Scheduling it in advance isn't possible on Epic's storefront.
- Do these giveaways ever repeat?
- Occasionally a title returns in a later promotion, but Epic gives no advance notice or guarantee of a repeat — treat a missed window as final rather than waiting for a second chance.
- Do all upcoming Epic giveaways use the same deadline?
- No. Promotions can overlap or use different closing dates. Check the opening and closing date for the individual game rather than relying on the date of another title in the same announcement.
