Steam's biggest sales right now — site-wide, not just our catalogue
IN SHORT
A dated snapshot of Steam's most prominent discounts on October 9, 2026, showing current US prices, list prices and advertised reductions.

Steam's own storefront lists these titles under "Specials" as of October 9, 2026. This covers all of Steam, not just the games we price-compare elsewhere on this site — so there is nothing to click through to a game page for here, only Steam's own listing.
What "Specials" actually means
Steam's site-wide specials feed, not filtered to any genre or price range — the discount percentage is Steam's own, off whatever price the publisher already has listed on the store page.
10 of the 10 surfaced titles have an active discount in this snapshot; the largest advertised reduction is 75% on Red Dead Redemption 2. Prices are taken from Steam's US storefront response and may differ by country, tax treatment or publisher regional pricing.

Car Park Capital — $15.29 (10% off $16.99).
ARC Raiders — $19.99 (50% off $39.99).

Japanese Ramen Simulator — $12.74 (15% off $14.99).
Red Dead Redemption 2 — $14.99 (75% off $59.99).
Big Walk — $15.99 (20% off $19.99).
Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective — $9.74 (35% off $14.99).

How to use this snapshot
The largest percentage badge is not automatically the best purchase. Compare the final price with the game's age, edition and recent user sentiment, and make sure a cheaper listing is the base game rather than DLC. Steam may run publisher, franchise and weekend promotions at the same time, so the visible list can change during the day even though this article updates on a schedule.
We preserve Steam's returned order instead of quietly re-ranking titles by affiliate availability, discount size or editorial preference. That makes the source and selection rule reproducible. The list is capped at ten entries so it remains scannable; it is not a claim that only ten qualifying games exist, and a title disappearing on the next refresh usually means Steam changed the storefront row rather than the product being removed.
Prices shown here are informational snapshots, not checkout guarantees. Storefront currency, VAT and regional availability can change what an individual visitor sees. Open Steam's live page immediately before buying, verify that the selected edition and operating system match what you want, and read the refund terms if you are unsure about compatibility.
- Why isn't this list limited to the games this site tracks prices for?
- This particular article mirrors Steam's site-wide feed on purpose, so it stays useful even for the vast majority of Steam's catalogue we don't yet carry marketplace offers for. Games we do track link through to a full price comparison from their own game page.
- How often does this update?
- This snapshot is from Steam's feed as of October 9, 2026 and refreshes on our regular publishing schedule — it isn't live-updating between refreshes.
